Subject: Re: OOPSLA Artifact Reviewing: Next Steps
Dear OOPSLA'13 AEC Member,
This is a gentle reminder of the upcoming review submission deadline of Monday, July 15.
Moreover, we'd like to highlight a couple of points:
* Allocate roughly one day of work per artifact. This usually won't be enough time to fully reproduce the authors' experiments (that's fine; see discussion on "Effort" in our prior mail below).
* Write roughly one page of text to substantiate your grades (mostly in fields 10 - Overall assessment, 11 - Rationale for assessment, and 12 - Suggestions).
* Use a constructive and friendly tone (see the example ECOOP reviews in our prior mail below).
In general, aim at producing the kind of review that you would appreciate and find useful if you were the author of the artifact.
